what about new prospective owners that are looking to buy horses
It probably is a service to them, as most owners tend to deliberately seek the outlaws, because they earn more than honest trainers, who won't get owners because the criminals make more money.
And around and around it goes, until the tracks are all condos, and the chemists are working at Lowes...

It's pitiful how it comes down to running around making up stories to get clicks or fellow losers to buy into your bullshit when you have a neglected family.

Most people can decipher between a horseplop inbred and an articulate person with some knowledge of the sport. Limiting the discourse on what can be said is never a good idea, those that spew hate and nonsense for the sake of personal satisfaction will be quickly identified and not taken serious. I'm shocked at how little is done to those that have created the mess which we as an industry are in and most likely will never recover from. Idiotic horsemen orgs, incompetent racetrack management teams to unqualified racing commissions--there is no end to the stupidity. I say call them out before it's too late

It's pitiful how it comes down to running around making up stories to get clicks or fellow losers to buy into your bullshit when you have a neglected family.

Everything turns into a "hey guys, I ratted people out for my own benefit (gofund me is on the left) and got people who actually matter to listen to me! I didn't do this when I was in the barns, only when I finally realized no one wants me around"

Sometimes it's best to do the goodness out of the bottom of your heart, no need for pats on the back of you're a good guy.

 Lonely ol' Christmas, I'm sure

We don't need to race, it's the camaraderie & the bond with the horses that makes it special.

 3 y.o filly has surprised, a win & a 3rd,  3 starts

Imagine how fast he would have ran to a computer to post about his good deed.

"Pat me on the back & thank me"

Even though my family had nothing to thank me for again this year!

Since the title of this thread is detrimental to harness racing, here is my list in no particular order. Drugs. Fixed races, post drag. Single file racing, CAW, high take out rates, beard trainers, not harsh enough penalties for when trainers actually get caught or suspensions pushed to the winter, except for a few exceptions no young driving talent, races going off at the same time, no emphasis on the triple crown races, horses retiring after their 3 year old campaign, except for a few exceptions idiots on the pre race shows and bad race callers. People like Wendy Ross who is besties with the Bongiorno crime family and Jessica Otten rubbing people's face in it when the elite turf club scores a huge win being faces of harness racing. I could go on but that's enough don't ya think? And some people wonder why in 10 years there might be just a few tracks left.

I couldn't agree more all legitimate GOOD facts although I think Wendy Ross's intentions are good.
