Detrimental to harness racing
« on: January 03, 2025, 02:32:21 PM »
Are these attention seeking Mutts detrimental to the sport of harness racing by constantly posting negative news about harness racing on their social media page?

Is page after page of negative news and fines and suspensions along with bad mouthing others really necessary for the public to see?  Never anything positive always negative. Are they hurting or helping our sport grow by seeking attention to themselves?
Not to be confused with HAKU.

You asked three question so I will give three answers (No, No and No).

To make things interesting the three answers are not necessarily in the same order as the questions asked so you have to figure out which answer corresponds to which question.

Well the fines and suspensions are publicly available for the General Public to view, so yes a light being shone is appropriate.

They have to know too so they can determine their own course of action if they choose to become owners and who to deal with.

Whether it's positive or negative, people are entitled to know the truth instead of a pep rally all the time.

So you want a world where nobody is called out for cheating or deceiving the public?
We shouldn't point out things like CAWs, doping, or running the Kings Plate on a Friday, because your son is getting married on that Saturday?

I prefer to be informed.

I think it's necessary for them to be informed by the proper authorities. There are a lot of people spewing bullshit just to get clicks on their websites or Facebook and or YouTube pages is definitely detrimental to harness racing.

If somebody's thinking about buying horses let them go to the USTA website and look under fines and suspensions and do their homework they don't need some fucking MUTT screaming like a lunatic ratting everybody and their brother out to make himself look good when he himself violated the same rules years ago who now miraculously became a choir boy is that credible news?  NO

I think you're referring to a rat wearing a wire/live recorder into a closed door conversation.

 No one likes a cock-pigeon
We don't need to race, it's the camaraderie & the bond with the horses that makes it special.
Kentucky & Pennsylvania:
3 y.o colt has 2 wins so far as a sophomore,  3 starts
 3 y.o filly has surprised, a win & a 3rd,  3 starts
 Can't wait for the 2 y.os now
