Horse breaks on the lead and no inquiry. Race made official before order posted.

-inquiry sign DEF should have gone up for break on last turn
(He was steppy much of the race)

Alas, none appeared. Could well be Northfield judge(s)
distracted by Ohio State football highlight at same time.

  • Bitter Truth: That Golden Tempo , I'm afraid is  a money burner. Gets so far back. Was in range but just hung and raced even in the stretch. Didn't see a Derby winner in there in my opinion.
