It may be a record.ù

A horse named Dusto, is making his 465th career start tonight, at Northfield. It's the most I've seen. Anyone know of a horse who made more?

The saddest thing is his dam only produced one mare out of the three foals she had. That mare was never bred, the second dam only had one other mare that was bred and she only had one foal and it was never bred. The dam’s side effectively died out.
