The up-and-coming young star vs the veteran driver with over 10,500 wins. It should go down to the wire. Good luck to both

Matty and Brett should be crushing the old man. Matty has Nickerson and Brett has his dad, and they both get the best of the drives from trainers in NY. The old veteran is still better than them both...as for now.

Was there on Friday End of day Brett was 1 up on Bruce
Now it is being said they tied because of a pos test on one of the winning horse

Ranger gets a few drives from Joe Nelson who trains for Ron Burke.

Yes, he does get a few drives from Joe Nelson but Joe Nelson is no Ron Burke. Most of Joe's horses from Burke drop off after being in Joe's barn for a couple of weeks. They will race much better when back in the Burke barn. As for the positive, yes they will tie as a open horse about a month ago did come up positive. That may show up in the coming weeks in FAS rulings.

Curious if this is the first time a track where 2 drivers who drove in nearly 900 races for the meet and are in almost all the races ends in a tie. Odds for this to happen must be very very low.

Today Tuesday Saratoga proves my point how many even money favorites can you have in one day
Ask 20 year old Bret beckwith

You forgot about the horse he won with from the 8-hole on Tuesday at 10-1. I guess that doesn't count. He has immense talent. Inside favorites on a 1/2 mile track get bet off the board everywhere.

Sounds to me like there is some major jealousy here. He's 20 years old, I've never met him but I've seen some interviews and he seems like a well-educated man and he's earned $6 million this year. At 5%- it's a $300,000 salary.  Just a spec less than you earn
