This is not the first time this year Burke has had equipment problems in a major race.

This wasn’t a flat tire….horse had issues tonight. I’d say a lot worse than just the fact that he bled.

He made up the flat tire story to bury the truth, that the horse was in extreme distress. A new low for the industry but not surprising at all
