Look at the training side of the ledger tonight!

Thoughts and insight please!

Several of the top drivers were at Yonkers for the $250,000 final of their trotting series. The top drivers do alot of traveling throughout the years and are probably tired as hell. Other than the big night coming up on November 30th, the racing stinks and the purses are not going to make you rich, plus the weather is getting colder.

Don't think many top guys will race this winter, lots of vacations too sunny places, and there ain't nothing sunny about the big m anymore.

  • Which wolf wins? The one you feed.
Today it's common for drivers to take off for the winter, drive very limited schedules, etc., and racing two days a week at the Meadowlands adds to that. Some will drive other tracks, some won't. Who wants to jeopardize their career driving for $9500 at the Meadowlands on a Saturday night. They'll drive in the stake, even bigger purses. But not day in, day out, two days a week for chump change. This is the horse population now. These are the economics now.

Somebody PLEASE keep Tyler Miller out of the Meadowlands. I never have seen a driver as useless as him.  Andy is the Orange Crush and Tyler is the Orange Fanta.  A cheaper version.
