What a shitty day

I found my roommate and friend for 30 plus years dead this morning. He had heart disease and was diabetic and I took him to the doctor on Friday for hi routine check up and he was fine. He must have tripped as I could him on the floor. I spoke to him last night ar 11:30 when I let his cat in and he was fine. I did not hear him fall and he was 301 pounds so that bothers me as to how long he as laying there.
Just absolutely stunned.
I got one laugh from the cop who was here as she asked who we voted for. I said the same person as you and she laughed like hell. She then said, it didn't do any good who we voted for and I said, The people have spoken so we have to accept it and move on.
She has 2 retired standardbreds that she rides so she showed me pictures and stuff. Had to wait 4 hours for the coroner. Not a pleasant experience.
After I get over this crap I have to find a roomy because I pay 1700 a month plus utilities come top another 500 or 600.
That's Las Vegas for ya

67. In addition to being his roomy, I took care of his meals and did all the shopping for him.
Doctor in Friday said everything was fine but he was way overweight 301 pounds 5 feet 9.
Ozempic had dropped him from 325. He was a great mechanic.
I just informed his estranged daughter. I searched for her information on Facebook and located her current phone number.
Last night I opened the door and let his cat in at 11:30, he was watching TV and this morning at 11 am when he had not answered I found him on the floor wedged between his chair and computer table. He was cold and I had the paramedics here within 5 minutes. They just took him away an hour or so ago.

Thank you guys.
I worked on the railroad in NZ in the 80's and I had seen the result of trains killing people. But finding him was really bad. He was cold lying on the floor and at least his eyes were closed. A month ago he was having chest pains when he gets and he would eat nitro pills and other pills to ease the pain but he refused to have a bypass operation.
Those pains stopped a month ago until Friday when it happened again Thursday night. Saw his doctor and his doctor took his BP and was surprised how good it was 124/77.
The weird thing is I never heard him fall but it must have happened when he got out of bed and was going to sit in his chair. It just bothers me I didn't knock and go in earlier, but the coroner said he had been gone before I woke up this morning by all accounts

ozempic is bad stuff. Many more will die from this. It probably dropped his sugar too low and he passed out and fell. sorry to hear.

I want to thank every one of you that reached out.
He was a friend for over 30 years. He was gruff and bitched about things a lot like people parking in the red zone of the complex and many trivial things but he would always apologize and he would give the shirt off his back. He was a geat mechanic and would help people with their cars etc.
It's going to be odd going past his room and seeing him watching all this political crap and getting upset about it. We laughed on election night And said, the people voted and his choice didn't do enough so we accepted the result and live with it. He got mad initially and started having chest pains and I said, "It's not worth it" and he agreed.
Isn't it always the case when you go the doctor, and get a good report and two days later gone.
Thanks again
