Has nothing to do with his hips.  They were way were early in his career.  Two things 1- he can no longer gas up his drives like he used too 2- he's pissed off all the big trainers he used to drive for with his shitty attitude

Definitely a down year for him. I don't think he's washed just doesn't have the horsepower this year. People forget that he drove the best horse in the country just last year.

The change from TT to Dex on Mirage Hanover is all the proof you need to analyze where he's (Tetrick) at in the GC driving colony.. we know and he knows too.!!

Tetrick only had 2 live horses the whole weekend, Fallout, who ran well and Highland Kismet who came up empty. All his other drives were longshots other drivers opted off.

My point was that Tetrick just didn't forget how to drive overnight. How many carrer wins does he have compared to the 3 you just mentioned. He just hasn't had the horsepower this year and if given the horsepower he can still get the job done. Believe me I'm not an apologist for him, and there are many drivers I would chose over him, but I just don't think he's washed up. As far as Mirage Hanover goes, some of that is the horse improving greatly. Dexter hung him out the whole mile in the jug final and he still got 2nd

He acts like he holds the blueprint to standardbred perfection, but the second real trainers walk into the barn, Mike disappears into the shadows—probably trying to remember if a harness attaches to the front or the back of the horse!
