i used to play Yonkers in the past much more than i do now - and you're 100 percent correct - Laterza was an auto toss on the blind as soon as you saw his name down as trainer - the guy never won...his horses never made aggressive moves - always rail riding suck along trips and lucky to get 4th or 5th...

Nowadays, I see the guy winning races pretty regularly - amazing...and it's hard to adjust your handicapping mind because when i handicap now, i still wanna auto toss him like i used to in the past..

So, who's responsible for his great turn around?

What are you talking about? Are we talking about the same Dennis Laterza? He hasn't raced a horse since August.  The guy has 18 starts this year and a .228 UDRS.  He hasn't won a race sine April?  Am I missing something?

Thanks for the correction, however the other Dennis Laterza with 530 starts has a UDRS of .219 in a track with short fields in some races.  He not exactly killing of late either.
