Legendary Hanover is toast as I previoulsy stated
« on: October 06, 2024, 08:38:12 PM »
After the Meadowlands Pace I said that would be his last win.Everyone on the planet knows this horse is the biggest coward and is a fake speed rat.  After Mirage looked him in the eye today he stopped so bad James was looking behind to make sure he didn't get run over.  They need to geld him and start over.

He actually won the Empire Breeders Stake at Tioga Downs two starts after the Meadowlands Pace. Today he was already done before Mirage even pulled the pocket.

He was better when they let him chase - he looks like he is too hot now when leaving and you aren’t going to bottom out these types every week

Even when he follows he will quit if he doesn't clear easily.  He has zero fight.  I would love to see Burke get him but Ronnie hates the breed.  Huntsville doesn't fit his program.

He didn't leave at the LBJ and he didn't look great there..in the final he was second over behind Mirage Hanover and had nothing.. He's had it for the year regardless of racing approach

Agree 1000%  He had a couple decent starts but drivers know how to beat him.  Too many weaknesses and he just not a talented as a horse as they think he is.  Don't get me wrong he's a nice horse and he's made good money but I think the ride is over unless you geld him.

Horse was crippled warming up and in the post parade today. Looked better with speed til the stretch. I honestly think he’ll be done for the year. The KHRC vet should be questioned about allowing him to race today , it was that obvious.

Yes, looked horrible in post parade. I’d say they’ll have him pieced together and ready for the breeders crown.

This is the first time I have heard that gelding a horse will cure all- including the fact the horse is lame.
He was Lame in the LBJ--even won in Tioga when not 100%--THAT is his issue, and he needs to be sound before we see him return to best form IMHO..
