Recall. Uggh. Don't like the race. Good race to watch.

Just watched the replay. Monster mile by Sig Sauer.. except a few steps on the backside he was outside.. Karl had as good a trip as you could from post 11.. I guess he won't be remembered as the greatest ever...lol no excuse for him he was 2nd over behind Sig Sauer. And man that was a wretched drive by McClure. If I was in the ownership group I'd be pissed. He could have dropped in 4th and than been 1st up or made a quarter move.. instead he cooked him to a half of 52.4. I would not let him drive that horse again.

finally a day of high quality racing

Sig Sauer was an absolute monster today. Its not how you start the season, its how you finish and he has a shot a divisional honors now. Karl really no excuse. I know raced on the outside but generally empty in the stretch. All talk of greatest ever should be over now. I would be surprised if he even shows up at the Big M or races again.  Highland Kismet continues to be one of the most overhyped horses around...never delivers in the big spot.

R Melina was super today. Nearly wire to wire and hanging out Ake's horse was sweet to watch...she had tons left for the stretch and definitely could get divsional honors with a BC win.

Sylvia Hanover nice 147.3 score without Twin B Joe around, though I would have liked to see the later put up a sub 147 today

Bythemissal finally with a comeback effort and just enough to hold off Abuckettbett who just time it a bit too late. Abucketbett is the top ffa this year though, almost every race right there at the wir. Muskateer Hanover continues to be amaze finishing 3rd. Has stepped right up to top company and has been racing since last fall without much of a break.

Mirage Hanover followed up the huge effort parked in the Jug with a 1:46.3 score. Peaking at the right time when Legendary and Nijinsky are floundering. Should be a good battle between Mirage and Albano in the BC at the Big M

Highland Kismet is the better horse, but retains the human anchor Bob McClure. That gives Karl the edge! Bob has driven for me and had no ability to get a horse in contention early. He normally races from behind, and realizes his lack of ability. Hell call Dan Daley, he is much better than Bob!

Bob must have read my post and said I'll show this guy. ngc3 ngc3 ngc3 ngc3

Meant to post this in this thread but the track had an incredible front end bias today.  All week guys were getting lost to the half but couldn’t hold up - although there wasn’t much closing from the clouds either.  Today was a different story - R Melina holding up after 122 to the 3/4 was something you didn’t see earlier.

If I was in the ownership group he would have been fired right after the race.. totally buckled under the pressure. He is ok at Mohawk but that's what happens when the big boy drivers are there
I'll give Dexter a pass that was a horrid drive on his part to.. but he has earned the right to screw up every now and again
