How many times do I have to see Yannick overuse a favorite in a big race?
purse only a million
turned into a one trick pony
no finesse
he needs to do better.

Highland Kismet did not look good at all tonight......3 wide first turn, didn't really settle, hit the gas, took off and broke stride. Practically pulled up and walked home. Hope he's OK.

Far the best in the world. It runs in the family. His brother has driven over 1700 and his father drove 1500 which are good numbers over there as they race two maybe 3 times a week

His father is top trainer over there at the moment

It was a very poor drive for the little bit he was trotting. I like Bob but when the big boy drivers came to town he blew it. Just like the jug with Macdonald and Roy. Furthermore with all the talk of Timmy's demise.. what a nice drive on Fallout in the metro. It's been a tough year for him and that million dollar race should put a big smile on his face

Race#5-#6 WRITE ME A ROSE 6-1 ML Picks up Yannick tonight, will definitely go off at an elevated price, Fellows barn generally grow wings on big stakes nights at Mohawk.

Race#6-#8 FRENCH CHAMPAGNE 6-1 ML Made the final last week just following along, see Dunn leaving tonight, Svanstedt at a price in here for me.

Race#9-#6 SIR PINOCCHIO 4-1 ML Betting Bartlett in a big money event makes me quiver, however I like him best in here. HK will be the huge favorite & will more then likely float out until he makes front. SP should be firing off the gate & should get an easier trip hugging the rail.

Race#11-#6 MCWICKED TIME 9-2 Has not had any luck in the draws the last three starts, better tonight, shorter suspect field, I think he’s sitting on a big effort in here.

Best of luck!  tmbz1

Bartlett can’t do it under the big lights. Only at his home track on gassed up horses.

Bartlett totally overdrove Sir Pinocchio. The drive would have been okay on a 1/2-mile track but not up there.

When I bet the all stakes pick 5. I singled Chantilly and Maryland. I ended up deciding on the all button for leg 4 race 9. My thinking was JMac and Dexter couldn’t lose their races. But if Highland Kismet does something goofy or if McClure got away last. That was the race for a price. I was stunned when McClure lost him at the 1/4 pole. I was more surprised when I saw the pick 5 was paying over $1000 for twenty cents.
