Living here that was a great result.. I knew soon as Miller drew the rail he would win. Roger needs to retire and should have 10 years ago.. but who do you replace him with.. I certainly don't want Settlemoir becoming the full time announcer here.. I miss Sam McKee as he was Roger's assistant for years and would be the heir apparent

What is up with the Burke horses? I looked at the charts & they were breaking all day.
These were two days I use to look forward too. Sam, Ellie, & Dave were good together. Brower stepped in for Sam & did a good job too. Roger is way past his time & struggles badly. Wendy is a bumbling idiot. How does she have a job commenting or interviewing? Ross is terrible.

Wendy is terrible.. alot of people on this forum have forgotten more about harness racing than she would ever know. That and she's besties with the Bongiorno crime family.. which is sickening. I liked Dave.. but he was no Sam McKee

Sam had this infectious love of the game. It made you feel involved & like being there.

for a number of races that old fool was getting the final positions wrong because the tv monitor for some reason was showing the 3/4 positions and he couldn't  remember the results from 5 seconds ago

I watched on Monday (at work rest of week so can't watch). On the pre-race show he was just awful. Sort of please take the car keys away from grandpa, But at least he was not calling the races. Tuned in later and oh no he is calling the races. Mute!

Roger was one nasty fucker in civilian life. He needs to stick his head in the oven....it's over bro. His fat bitch daughter (the one that still talks to him) has an identical fucktard personality.

  • dougie: IIB, I think the mayor will sign the bill if it reaches his desk. The optics on this issue is bad for the horse carriage industry. Animal activists are adept to using the media to enlist horror and anger by the public.

  • Ignorance Is Bliss: It's now a bill with city council. Public hearings will be scheduled then the council votes on it. If passed it's sent to the Mayor to sign into law. He has already said he's in. Marte just took over, Bob Holden is the actual author of the bill who retired last year.

  • dougie: IIB, I have been reading some of the work Councilman Marte has been doing on this issue. I think he might be successful with passing the 'Ryders Law" Bill this time around. The image of the horse dead on the street has even been seen here everywhere. If the animal activists can get this on the ballot, who knows how the vote will go.
