Yooosees all knows in the late 70,s,JOHN FRANK ARMY with others to save the last rements of grays or timber,whichever you prefer to call them in NORTHERN WISCONSIN. And with help of other ORGANIZATIONS we did. Population back up. JOHN FRANK ARMY likes all animals. Over the years he has saved numerous CATS and I'm not talkin TIGERS and LIONS. Domesticated.
But in USA we do have a problem with geese. There a huntin season on them and it varies by state. Out of season they protected by federal law. And they all use to fly south for winter. Not no more. Climates have changed and they can now nustle in stops and never leave. And part to blame are humans for feedin them. These guys and girls are quite capable of fendin for themselves. And when they stop and not proceed a few get entangled in fishin lines. Had to call Natural wildlife to extrack or put down.
And everyone loves watchin the youngsters. MoM leads and DAD trails the field to boost slow pokes along.
But we do have a problem with GEESEESSES. Their droppings are not healthy for human or animal. And their crap is all over the place. You do see CONDO associations with ponds hire people that have trained dogs to drive them away. That lasts about 2 days and they back. These guys and girls are plentiful. I've got some friends who are avid hunters. They enjoy eatin after the kill. My take on this is: Don't know how one catches a wild goose without shootin,as they is pretty quick, and as long as you ain't leavin chicks motherless, and not sure if these are sold commercially or at a wild game butcher, and even if a immegrant knows the US LAW. There a abundance. And a few less here or there ain't gonna matter.

SWANS are great. But they no put up with geese in any circumstance. For that matter,humans also. Leave them alone and especially with their young and NATURE will prevail. FUC with a MOM and DAD SWAN,and they dislike gesse and humans both. DISASTER will occur. SWANS will win. THEY RULE the DUCK WORLD. Although I will say this. SWANS don't seem to concerned about ducks. They let them swim freely around. But geese they will kill.
