Is Brian still practicing? I think he lived up around Goshen. I think he made more money pre-racing than he did practicing veterinarian care but who can blame him.

I heard Roy Sadowski (Mr. radium pellets) really nice guy,  I heard he passed away. Sad

Brian is with Warwick Equine. I think his wife is still working with him. Roy died about 10 years ago or so. He had relocated up to Greenwich and was starting to spend more time with the show horses in FL. Roy could be, and I'll use the word, "controversial" so to speak, LOL. Yes, the radium pellets, but Roy also got famous for working for Laz Barrera.

Roy was a character. Funny, real sense of humor. He knew who the good guys were and who the bad guys were. His dealings with Laz put a real stigma on him for a while. The radium pellets and all that compliance was also a bit of a lightning rod. But he was well respected with the show horse community and he was sought after in Wellington, FL. Way back, before Roy died, Mickey McNichol and I went to see one of those competitions in Wellington. As soon as people we met learned we were in the harness game they asked about Roy and Dr. Steven Allday and a few characters from the harness world. I always liked Roy and he always steered me right when asked.

Driver change George Sadovsky to Ken Heaney- gold.
The other way around- lead.
The weight difference alone was 100 pounds, and Sadovsky in the bike signaled a no try.

brian was the lasix vet at yonkers until they canned his ass .  he was making a very nice living at 20$ a pop … lasix vets are highway robbery . sickening how much money they make

Yep great gig that lasix vets get. Spend 6 hours giving about 70 shots for $1400. Much better than going to a barn injecting 8 joints in an hour.
