So Karl is only going to race on 7/8 or mile tracks for the rest of his career? So you think that’s going to make him the greatest of all time? Karl would get his bridle jerked sideways if he went up against European trotters like Idao De Tillard, Joshua Tree, or Horsy Dream.

Karl will get his bridle jerked when he doesn't get the yimmy treatment when he has to go to detention barn.  They need to prick the horse like the old days to prove he's been shocked.

He definitely is not the best trotter of all time. When Jimmy works on him, I don't think TCI can beat him. It depends on what he is doing to him because of the detention barn.

That said, I agree that Karl would in no way get around a half. And as such he will never see one.

I'm not saying whether Karl can or can't get around a half but who the fuck cares. He is being managed to return as much cash on the owner's investment. Does anyone know how hard it is to buy a yearling and develop it into a potential Hambo winner. I can tell you the odds are stacked against you and yet people are bashing Karl and Takter(s) who are probably 4-5 to win it Saturday. Will they win? I think they will but it's a horse race and a trotting one at that and anything can happen. There is a lot to criticize about harness racing but to bash Karl or the Takters is ridiculous.

Yes I agree he looked sound tonight.  That means 1 thing - Jimmy went to work with the shock machine and his old favorite osphos.  Jimmy is no dummy he knows where he is off and can put the patch on for a couple of starts.

This colt is going to be favorite to win the Hambo----the Hambo!----and you bash both continuously? Wow. So if he gets beat, you stand on all your bashing and say I told you so. But, if he wins you stand on your claims that Jimmy figured it out, did whatever he did (legal or not legal----maybe you should clarify your aspersions and accusations)----and downplay the fact that he won the Hambo. At least your consistent, LOL.

And that is exactly why harness racing is dying. Race a few big races than off to a farm never to be seen again. That is no way to build a fan base.
