Is he slated to call the actual Adios??

If so..geez. if their normal announcer is around - who does a great job - pretty shitty to boot him in favor of The Voice.

The Adios Day simulcast show is set to feature several guest commentators and handicappers. Dawnelle Mock, representing the Pennsylvania Horse Racing Association, will be joined by Gabe Prewitt of the #SenditIn Army, at a broadcast location just outside the winner’s circle. They will offer insight and interviews throughout the card. Guest handicappers Mike Pribozie and Kevin Plowcha from NAHUpicks.com will be stationed in “Studio B” offering handicapping information on all races throughout the day. In The Money Media’s Edison Hatter is likely to join partway through the day to offer additional notes from the paddock. Track announcer Jeff Zidek will host the show, while his predecessor, Hall of Famer Roger Huston, will likely make a guest appearance on the mic. The 16-race broadcast will go on air at 11 a.m.

Not much of a race this year. That whole operation is bargain basement quality.

Welcome aboard Frankie. tmbz1 No explanation why they would involve 'THE MOUTH'.
Many more people dislike him now than like him.  ;D

Listening to Roger on Adios day is like standing in line for ice cream and seeing the old guy in front of you have diarrhea running down his leg.

At least we have Gabe and Edison to offer 'live' insight.  We all should find out how much Dawnelle knows about racing as she is part of the horsemen's association.  Looks like the mute button if Roger is calling the race.  Will the mute button be strong enough as he is getting louder and louder with age?

I can't stand that blow hard!  Thinks the day is more about him than the racing.  He isn't a good race caller and looks ridiculous in his Mr. T starter kit!

A little trivia.
Who will be wearing Delvin Miller's Hall Of Fame ring on Adios Day?
Before he died who did Delvin give his Hall Of Fame ring to ?
I am just an old horse trainer still going around in circles. Sometimes Fast. Sometimes Half-Fast.

Delvin knew when to retire, was a joy to talk to. Business not about him, would help anyone. The complete opposite of the voice. Delvin gave him the ring, where does it go next? Does it really matter? Roger is a loud, obnoxious, arrogant ass that thinks this business owes him.

The guy that calls the races for the Hong Kong Jockey Club is the best. “The Voice” has always been horrible. Too loud. Too obnoxious. Too slow for the flow of the race. And in his old age. He should just enjoy the nursing home.
