Power Code
« on: July 22, 2024, 04:40:43 AM »
After winning back to back NJSS
with the latest in 1:51:2. Carl Jamieson and the ownership group has decided to sell .
The going rate ???.
Can anyone  put a number on this colt?.
As a son of  first crop sire, Cattlewash, Power Code has a chance to be the
top of this line.

If Pollock shows interest I would bet that Jamieson would ask him for a Million or maybe 1.25 so he could settle for a cool Million.  Yes, I think that's too much but if his kid likes the colt then he will pay whatever it takes.

nothing wrong
its all based on ego and payback
if someone thinks the colt can earn back  more than he will cost they are likely going to buy him

Definitely more about ego and because he can rather than payback!

If you think about it Pollock has to take an interest in this horse.  How did he get his massive fortune?  Solar POWER.  He has to know all the POWER CODES.  ngc3  Seriously though, it fits too well, he has to buy him.

Just looking at this weekends races. Power Code is in the Final and HARRIS is listed as the trainer.  Anyone have the scoop on this? Would a owner change be listed?  We will know when the program comes out anyway.

They are racing for a 240 purse Friday.  Price might depend on what he is staked to, but it should be a lot more than 250.
