They want people to bet on these shit elim races yet everyone on every telecast kept stating next week matters and don't gut the horse this week.  Why make them available for wagering if they don't try?  And fyi, I don't bet elim races.  tmbz1
Elimination races are a fucking joke. The #1 rule in horse racing is you must try to win every race you are entered in and that is simply not the case in an elimination. You could flag half the drivers in each elim for a lack of effort penalty and yet I have never seen a judge rule that way. What happened to protecting the public? Barring all wagering for elimination races is the only option.

Typical Yannick fucking up a race and getting in the way.  Why anyone puts this guy down when big money is up for grabs is beyond me?

You're spot on. He has done this too often in big races. The only problem in this instance is that if he doesn't make the brush to the front he most likely gets shuffled to the back. So objectively, he gave the horse the best chance to earn a spot n the final, albeit with a horse that didn't belong in the elimination.

Everyone wants to win their elim.  Nice purse and guaranteed a great post in the final.  But nobody, except Yannick, overused their horse with big money on the line next week.  Caveat emptor.

You have a handful of individuals who don't have a 'pot to piss in'{basement dwellers} yet alone "bet the house" on a horse!
