I would say the nicest of the half mile tracks may be Saratoga Raceway. It is clean and very close to downtown Saratoga Springs. The racing is pretty good for a B/C type track. I find the staff very friendly as are the locals.

freehold horses are not good enough for Delaware. They would fit in Ocean Downs but won't get in..  Actually, they can race at the Meadowlands with the race conditions they are writing. How about a 68 and under TM at the Meadowlands last week?  (that's like $4,000 claimers. -some less) That's the cheapest TM class at Freehold and Meadowlands carded it: same cheap horses racing, much nicer track and a bigger purse. only an hour drive too

Love the Afternoon Delight. Once saw a man passed out in the bathroom with a flower pot busted over his head.

What’s with all the people saying the place smells like piss and urine ? One guy said Grand central in NYC smells better . Are there really homeless people sleeping there ?  You guys out East are really burying this place .

If you don't like the place do not go do not watch or just shut the fuck up and let the people who do enjoy it race.
