Mohawk Saturday
« on: May 25, 2024, 04:58:19 PM »
Race#8-#7 COMMAND 5-1 ML Been right there in his last two starts, think he will break through tonight from a bit better post. Look for Fillion to use his early speed in here, not a bunch of leavers in here.

Race#11-#5 THE LONGEST YARD 8-1 ML Was gutted in typical Drury fashion last week, if Henry gets him covered up he can blast past these late at greatly inflated odds.

Race#12-#7 REDWOOD HANOVER 5-2 ML Him & #4 will probably both be under 2-1 at post time tonight, third start off the qualifier, I’d expect he’s being driven with a purpose to close out tonight’s stakes heavy program.

Best of luck!  tmbz1

How about Roy with the NO effort drive at 2/5 in race 1? A real presiding judge would give him a 6 month suspension to think about it. But between the massive drug doping of horses and blatant cheating with the drivers. It’s become a complete joke. No inside info. No chance for the betting public that’s not in the know.

1-5 at the start.  Roy takes this horse back to seventh from the rail and stays buried until the top of the stretch when he "tries" to get into him to close.  Keep this horse in mind for next week with a driver change and higher odds.  Any decent judges would haul his ass in after the race and set him down but he will continue driving as if nothing happened.

Not unlike the race a couple nights ago nights ago with Mcclure .Another
superchalk trotter off the rail with little effort. Tough to handicap. Throw them
out in a series and you feel like a retard when they get there. You know they
.'CAN' win potentially, but do they care? Are they really trying? That is what
you are left to try and evaluate.

There definitely won’t be a driver change next week. Not much of an effort, completely agree sitting that far back, ended up fourth over off a trip second quarter , first half he’s almost got no shot at that point. I’ve been following Mohawk for decades, these miles have been suspicious the last few weeks, phony last quarters etc.

Guy talking about a driver change obviously doesn't follow Mohawk. LPR gets first call on all Blais' horses.
