RIP

I don't know many car salesmen who sold a dealership like the one he owned.
We don't need to race, we do it for the love of horses & because we can. Great game if you have the means.
*3 y.o colt & filly have been top3 in their sire stake
*The 2 y.o's have shown a ton of talent & 1 just missed a sire stake win

Wasn't he just training for his suspended son?  From the nursing home?  Really?

R Kelly, I think that it was a tasteless thing to say about a man who can't defend your charges. I never met the man. But talking bad about the dead is bad karma. Rest In Peace Mickey Burke Sr.
Blow it out yo mommas ass. I posted facts and not talkin* bad about the dead. The man was a cheat and invented the groom pissed in the stall defense. Those are facts. You can decorate him up because he passed any way you want but anyone in the game knows who Mickey was so the proof is staring you in the face. The best thing I can say about him passing away is at least he was a good horseman but I don’t know how good he would of been with epo and cocaine.

Mickey was a kind man, gave a lot to the sport & he would give you the shirt off his back if you needed it. I'm sure he's up there telling his stories to everyone. RIP Mickey.

R Kelly - You're a classless asshole. Keep shit talking the dead from your momma's basement.

Mickey Burke Sr was a Legend. One of the greatest horsemen that ever sat behind a horse. Great judge of a yearling and a racehorse. What he didn’t know about harness horses was very little.
I talked to him in Lexington a few years back and in the few minutes we talked I found him to be a kind man not ostentatious but a down to earth hard working family man.
He will be missed and harness racing just lost one of its finest participants
RIP Mickey- gone but lives on in many people hearts. 💕

Forty thousand people die world wide every day. He outlived the average life span of a male which is 72-74. I didn't know the man so I have nothing to say of him.  I do know that he was definitely not a legend or anything close to it in this business. All that crap is pure CORN. When I think of the Burke name in Harness Racing, it brings back memories of my first enema. I can't wait to hear this nonsense when Ron dies and I propose crucifixion.
