I agree it's an election interference case involving hush $.
These close elections like in 2016 are win or lost by independent voters. Had that voting bloc known about his bad acts they might not have voted for him. Covering up is a crime, pure and simple. Whether or not a jury finds him guilty we'll have to wait and see.
