Mohawk Monday
« on: April 15, 2024, 10:41:47 AM »
Race#1-#6 TRUFFLES TOO 4-1 ML Got an extra week off after the last start, adds lasix and I’ll assume some vet work. Jamieson picks up the drive tonight, should be employing front end tactics in here.

Race#4-#7 MAJOR HILL 6-1 ML Went off at almost 60-1 last week, should be above ML but not that high tonight. Took awhile to get a spot last week, still wasn’t beat much after trying to get involved early. One of those types that needs to be handled aggressively to be at his best.

Race#11-#8 DEALIN WITH DEWEY 3-1 ML Qualifier over an off track was ideal, big speed late. Draws outside, can leave, expect LPR to at minimum leave for position made over 100k last year, fit well in here even after the layoff.

Best of luck  tmbz1

Race 2 #6 No Time At All 10-1 m/l Trying to beat Royal Regatta again. Been knocking on the door.
Hoping the one mixes it up with fave or at least stings him. If Cullen can avoid being first up, could upset.

Good luck Mohawk players tmbz1

I also agree Royal Regatta is vulnerable--goes to new barn who is 0-9 this calendar year

race 2#1 Lets Get Rocked--must overcome the dreaded post #1-(almost like having Drury driving you)-but I feel has the credentials to beat the favorite

race #8--if you don't mind $2.60 to win-#7 Sweet Deisel looks exceptionally tough to beat-drawing perfectly-look for Roy to blast and cross over then bury these

R#2 #7 Royal Regatta.  OK, Cliff McGuire ain't Richard Moreau.  But all he has to do is make sure the horse gets food and water.  R R is on a Cam Fella like form spree and J Mac can win with a lame three legged mule.

Speaking of drivers...

R#9  #3 Full Disclosure loses the human anchor and picks up J J who has been winning at a 17.1% clip the last 2 weeks.

Good luck Mohawk punters!  tmbz1

One play for me tonight, not my fav card for sure.

6th. #2 Mach Jacobs 5/1ML--- 2nd start for Giles, expecting a much improved and aggressive effort tonight. Should offer some value as well.

Good luck guys!!

Beauty drive by Henricksen on Perfetto. Love that horse. Tough when he's right. Not able to
go with top ones anymore. Glad I wasn't alive in pic4, [19-1],didn't have him, would have really hurt.

Baldie gave you a nice run in the 9th Mac. Just not enough. You do, however,
have the group's only winner tonight so far with RR. Whip has the 8 in the last left.
