Absolutely not, unless u made the Vets list.
Yeah, requalify. there are people wagering tickets where who finishes 4th or 5th matters. A lot. At least try to make the sport just a little bit more legitimate.
If you are 6-1 and have the 7 hole, you duck to the back the field... Can't keep up and the only horse you beat was pulled up. You lose by 29 lengthsYou pace in 1:59.1 while the competitve race went in 53.2 with the top five finishing within 3 lengths of the winner. Should you have to requalify ?? Which track?Class if horse? Was it a fast track or off track?I was looking up a horse that raced and for some reason, this particular horse caught my eye.
Just like people, horses have bad days. Sick, sore, tied up or just don’t feel like working today. It is part of the gamble when handicapping
And exactly why a horse in those circumstances should be listed poor performance must qualify. Not to mention beaten more than 25 lengths 'distanced" which used to be instant poor performance if not interfered with or ran.
I agree to an extent but there are some circumstances that should be considered. Driver chokes the horse trying to wrestle him into a hole...horse backs through the field...should he be punished and have to requalify in this instance?
