 Someone please tell me they have another announcer!!! I’m so so so tired of hearing “HAS WON IT” like a freaking robot every damn race. He needs to learn to go where the action is instead of just methodically calling positions.  Big speed duel up front and he’s calling who’s 5th, 6th, 7th then 88888888thhhh, then 9thhhhhhhh then 10thhhhhh “and last”.  All this while there is a battle upfront separating the field by 8! Lengths… he makes the race about as fascinating as watching coffee brew.

[Bitter Truth]

 Point is that people have other horse's interests, be it ownership or betters,
 and are looking for their potentially contending horse's position. Especially
with the impact 3rd 4th sometimes 5th place finishers mean. Seperates the
ordinary from superior announcers.

The bettors today do not listen to the announcers at all. They can eliminate announcers from harness racing completely and add that money into the purses. Nobody wNts to hear them tooting their own horn and nonsense trying to be funny. Keep the races silent and the only time the few people at the track get excited is coming down the stretch where you can see your horse anyhow.

Agree strongly.  He is a subpar announcer.  Also think he gambles a lot which affects his calls.
