YONKERS DRAW ALGORITHM??-PER ENGBLOM.
« on: February 28, 2024, 12:10:14 PM »
i apologize for going on with repeated posts on the draws at certain racetracks especially at Yonkers where it matters the most going for great purse money. They boggle my mind.
1) Take the leading trainer ATM -Per Engblom. Out of the last 121 starts in over 12 months he has drawn 78 post positions from 1-4 BUT only 43 from PP-5-8. Now about 25 % of his races had no 8 hole -but however you slice it---its a HUGE BIAS there. Im no mathematician--but if I had a lottery with 7 or 8 balls in it--and drew these numbers--there would be a riot at the lottery office--harness racing--not a whisper.
2) I checked a few of the "bottom feeder" trainers--their draws are exact opposite!!!
3) You can ask any official there-and they shrug their shoulders and say its all done by computer and its on the up and up--but FACTS dont lie--unless you are a Biden supporter--where you follow "truths" not facts. 73cv.2

IMHO -draws should be held in public--great for all concerned.

i always said the way they draw now is flawed.

I agree with you. Take the 10% lower udrs trainers and you'll see them drawing outside more than in normal.

I agree.   Bigtime trainers draw 1-5 way more than the little guys.
Of course they do. Racetracks need the big barns to succeed especially with the horse shortage. You're an idiot if you think a 50 horse stable is treated the same as a 2 horse stable.

HUH??

Harness racing will not end because the sport “loses” Burke, et al.  It actually will be better for others in the business to pay their bills/make money with these big time owners/trainers not in the business!!
