Brandon Simpson was a rising star- why would he risk it all ?
« on: February 23, 2024, 03:00:26 PM »
Simpson was doing very well on his own , why would he risk it all getting involved with a bad element ? Like with the Houston beseball sign stealing scandal- was just a matter of time before its brought to light and it was

I would not have characterized him in any way as a "rising star."

He is an intelligent and charismatic young man. He has had many opportunities made possible by his grandparents. When he came to the NY/NJ/Pa circuit, he was given more opportunity based on his success and family connections.
He got lazy and took on an attitude of entitlement. He, and only he took on attitude that made these influential people distance themselves from him. He was failing as a trainer and was to lazy to put the work in as a driver. He was doping horses long before he decided to join that two legged puss pocket, Allard. He was very comfortable and happy in his role with Allard.
His character flaws were in full bloom when Feds came marching in. He does not have half the balls he thought he had. So, when the Feds squeezed him, he popped like a teenager's pimple on prom night. Ratted out everyone he could to keep his candy ass out of prison.
I have no problem with someone giving information to the Feds, only if your own house is clean. Other than that, you are a gutless rat.
He has to live with himself. For now, he is grateful he is not doing time. As the years go on, I assure you, if he has any manhood left, he will suffer the consequences of ratting your friends and associates to save you a couple years in the joint.

Brandon is a good kid with solid harness racing roots. He moved east when things went tits up in Illinois. Didn’t have the power to compete out here, like many others. Took a great paying job with a top stable and got caught in the crossfire when the Feds came in. If he was giving enough reliable info to the Feds you would never had heard his name

You're a fucking idiot. He cried like a baby and ratted everyone out because he got caught. If he was such a good kid as you claim, he would have quit Allard or notified the authorities of what was going on before the Feds showed up. Everyone straightens up when their hands are cuffed.

My question not answered. Is his case on going or is he still waiting judgement.

My question not answered. Is his case on going or is he still waiting judgement.

According to a pre-sentence report filed by his counsel, Simpson admitted that he “assisted Mr. Allard in administering performance-enhancing drugs on a day of a race to enhance a horses race performance. In addition, Mr. Simpson also assisted in obtaining prescription drugs that were obtained without valid prescriptions, and those drugs were administered to racehorses in violation of the applicable racing rules and regulations.

“Significantly, Mr. Simpson does not hide from his illegal conduct. In fact, it is quite the opposite,” Simpson's court filing continued. “Mr. Simpson, after being contacted by authorities, agreed to cooperate with federal agents and prosecutors in an attempt to assist them in their efforts against other individuals and he did so knowing that it was the right thing to do in order to help in some way to right his wrongful behavior.”

The judgment on the court docket stated that Flynn must pay $16,220,794 in restitution that is “joint and several” with Bianca and a $129,975 forfeiture that is “joint and several” with Grasso.

Simpson's judgment stated that he must pay $31,435,782 restitution that is “joint and several” with Grasso and a $628,553 forfeiture that is “joint and several” with Allard.
