Cheating in horse racing. You cheat to win races you get more horses. More owners more money. (If you have a big enuff stable you have more pull to get favorable judgements or decisons to benefit you.

Cheating in college football. Michigan is rewarded with an opportunity to play for a national championship.
It's all ok in today's society with little to no repercussions.

I think it’s just more out in the open today with the way the glorify sports and give the athletes a platform to speak their nonsense. I just hope somehow, someway our country gets going in the right direction. I don’t care which party does it, I just wanna see the USA thriving again and everyone happy.  Anywhere you go today people are so down and angry to the point if you even look st them they want to argue or ready to fight. Sadly, you're on target.  Hard-working people have just about had it w/ the govt. using the Irs for a greed shakedown to lube the handouts.  The only way we can return to a model of representation is w/ term limits.  Until then, the deep pocket politicos will continue to get elected and will pass out pay to play favors.
The legislation federally, at state level and locally has provided over regulation and too many laws. 
What this country needs is a return of responsibility and pride
