Nothing is ever assured no matter how much an owner spends on players. 2023 was a perfect example of that in BB. Scherzer, Verlander, Judge, Renton, Trout, Cole, Seager, Arenado, Strasberg and Linder were the highest paid MLB players in 2023. Only Seager saw the World Series with Texas. Good luck to the Dodgers paying Ohtani’s $700 million and they need to pray he doesn’t get hurt as a everyday player.
