Its time to petition for the removal of Joe Faraoldo and Russell Williams, from the USTA. They are not in place for the betterment of the industry. They are functioning to serve themselves.

It’s true about Faraldo for sure. Gural wrote in HRU that he met with Faraldo asking him to bury the hatchet and find some way to move forward together. Gural reported Faraldo totally rejected Gural’s offer. This is just another example of how Faraldo wants to be king and not change so many bad policies that his buddy at the USTA supports.

Get a copy of the USTA bylaws and see what getting him removed entails.  I'm sure between all of us and our social media we could put some heavy pressure on them for removal.

Yonkers, NY – On Saturday, December 2, the Standardbred Owners Association of New York held their Board of Trustees and Board of Directors meetings.

The major topics discussed during the Board of Trustees meeting were our strong financial position, the New Bonus Plan (replaced the Old Retirement Plan) and a change of healthcare and dental providers.

The major topics discussed during the Board of Directors meeting were the election results (see below), our strong financial position, the purse account, condition sheet and 2024 racing schedule (240 race dates),

At the Board of Directors meeting, all incumbent Directors, were re-elected without opposition:

Tom Ceraso (Owner category)

Michael Forte (Driver/Trainer category)

Sandra Kaufman (Owner category)

Stanley Noga (Owner category)

Jordan Stratton (Driver/Trainer category)


The following Officers were elected to serve for one-year terms:
