If they were dumb enough to race Confederate against the age horses he’d get his nuts clipped Fugs

rough trip with bad post, if he had midpack, alot different story...stretched out 5 wide by pig Lous Pearlman and Timmy could have got check but definitely eased up on him when he knew he wasnt going to reach.

I don't disagree Tetrick eased him...but why? It was his final race. Did Tim feel something was off or the horse was cooked? It reminded me of the way CaptainTreacherou s was protected.

And 3 yos sometimes win the Breeders Cup Classic with Tbreds.
4 in the last 10 years- Authentic, Arrogate, American Pharaoh, Bayern.
Interesting difference.

yeah great comparison to a 5 horse field without a couple of the top mares this season even racing in it

they took a shot....they could have raced him from way back and got 3rd like Abucketbutt did but they were looking to win actually win the race not trip out....he had circles his entire chart

Was it just me or did he look a little “steppy” in the last turn.

Funny what all those horses have in common given the current state of affairs in TB land.
