When we were in Old Orchard Beach,Maine 10 years ago it was a 60 degree water temp in July. Ya cant go more then knee deep

A vacation after Labor Day is the best time. Here in Maine, 90% of the tourists go home. Weather is still great, but Fall comes early here. LOL! Prices drop and the crowds are small.As for the ocean here, water temps at at about 60 degrees. LOL!

Weather and water extremely warm. They are renourishing the beach as we speak. Over 20 homes fell into the ocean last year. Pretty sad
