Like Ronnie Burke says "when the circus loses a monkey, they just get another monkey". He's not going to stop entering, just get another monkey, they'd all like the chance to pick up his drives. Tell me who the first driver or trainer who will boycott.
I would say the first drivers or trainers that boycott might be the guiltiest ones. They may figure the FEDS are watching closely so why not make it look like you're on the straight and narrow by rebelling.

Won't happen or will be short lived.  People still have to eat and pay their help.  It's only hurting them.  The casino and racing board couldn't care less!  tmbz1

the track owner would welcome that 100%. The only way this will end the industry will have to fix itself. The owners have to be penalized; they know the trainers are cheating but want the money. When it is all done, they will move on another investment. These animals are just a commodity. It has gone to far and probably not worth the effort to repair. Greed and corruption rule sad to say.

Yonkers may just be hoping for a walk out. So lets review the facts. #1. They dont really want to deal with the track and its issues. #2 The dirt is worth much more per sq. ft. housing more machines. #3. Its a corporate owned casino company. they have a different view.  One that precludes horseman. And last but not least did I already mention NO HORSES = MORE REVENUE.

If you knew nothing about harness racing and read all these posts you would have to ask: 1) Why would anyone want to in this business? 2) How do so many criminals walk around with so few repercussions? 3) Where is the governing body and why is their heads in the sand? and finally 4) Are people crazy betting their hard earned money on this sport?

It will never happen. Everybody knows what is happening and they don't want to cut their own throats. The casino owners would love it and there is an eight-billion-dollar casino coming to NY.
