Brent Holland fans rejoice
« on: October 30, 2023, 06:43:02 PM »
Those including my friend, Theo, who watch and wait for Holland fireworks should enjoy this evening should he actually win a race.

5 drives in 9 races. 3 dead barns. Blumenfeld, Stafford and Forte

Paul Stafford’s barn has been good all season. Great Somewhere is the claim of the meet,

The other two, not so much.

Holland is a cult hero on Plop. The trainers and drivers in the YR dungeon are probably having a good time ribbing him.

I like to see how many wins any trainer here would have when your 5 drives ranged from 7-1 to 61-1.

That's the point. It is all cyclical. Drive like a loser, get losing horses, drive more losers, get more losers.  His drives are gonna get worse or dry up. 3 lower tier trainers put him down all night. Whether he is cheating or his heart isn't in it or he has lost his touch, against the top 5 he has no chance anymore.

The curse of the Plop will turn Holland around --- I feel a double bagger coming very soon.

With Pantaleano joining the driver colony at YR, Brent will most likely get less drives. I had heard a few years back that he was retiring from racing but came back.

I remember when Pantaleano was first call for Lou Pena at Yonkers before Brennan showed up.
