i think you misunderstood my point bond
i was suggesting that there are likely different  definitions of what a trainer is today
not all trainers sit behind all the horses
so perhaps she is managing the stable without sitting behind horses( is that a "trainer"? not sure)
so maybe beard isnt the right word, perhaps stable manager

however i am sure all the folks on here would love to see a video of  jenn hooking one up and going a training mile , perhaps next time you are at the barn you could get that

He does. I was at Gaitway for 2 years. Never once saw her on the track. Mostly she only showed up to video the horses when they trained

Right after Jen was named "TRAINER OF THE YEAR', I made a statement here on Plop that I still stand by which was that it is an insult to true HORSEMEN and the integrity of Harness Racing for such a travesty to be allowed to exist. Furthermore, I stated that I didn't believe that Jen actually knew which end of a horse the shit came out of.  As far as getting a Trainer's License is concerned, I got mine almost immediately by stating that I was only going to train my own horses. No muss, no fuss. As far as sending horses to California, Chicago, Jersey, or Florida, I had to be licensed there also but still was listed on the program as trainer.

Name me one harness trainer that switched over to T-Breds and had any success?  I never said T-bred trainers were better, I said it was much harder to get a license and race.  We are letting people have General Trainers license who couldn't be a groom for most top stables.

Norm McKnight had a very good run. A lot of speculation as to the drop-off. Some say he lost his major owner, others say something else he lost.

My wife did All the paperwork, including entries, USTA, etc. She was called "the bookkeeper" NOT the trainer. Jen takes care of the owners, WTF does that mean.
