Name me one harness trainer that switched over to T-Breds and had any success?  I never said T-bred trainers were better, I said it was much harder to get a license and race.  We are letting people have General Trainers license who couldn't be a groom for most top stables.

Mediocre at best.  Bill Robinson tried, Monte Gelrod, Bob Belcher, Takter, & many more and have failed miserably.  Maybe the great Ron Burke can go train Thoroughbreds?  He always brags that his stuff can't be stopped.

Philip trained in the Godolphin program. Was never in Harness Horses became a TB trainer from the get go.
