I,m surprised they are even filling 7 races. Nowhere else for the slow horses to go. And if they raised purses, these owners would be out of business as better stables would come in. Just the way it is at a small dying racetrack

I am sure Resorts would love to shut MR down tomorrow if they could. I don’t recall the details but I think to get their casino license they had to keep MR open. Incredibly they actually be making a profit on MR with their handle. Their expenses are low. Maybe some plopper knows more about this situation.
