Hawthorne Race 1 Friday 10/6
« on: October 06, 2023, 08:34:27 PM »
Juan Franco, Mr. 1 win in 83 starts, was the even money favorite.

A person would have to try really hard to suck that bad.

Solid betting by the public there.

Bouchard was 1 for 100 at the Meadowlands over a stretch'

Btw, someone once told me that when O'donnell first started out ( he was very heavy, btw ) he won only 1 or 2 in his first 100 drives.
That's what an old man told me at Rockingham long ago.

  • Sweet: The fact of the matter is the win pool on Beau Jangles was I believe a negative pool,  his real odds not 1/9 but 1/99.  Enough already, we're the real patrons of thius F'ing sport, many of us also care for these animals despite the best don't want drugs and whipping, abuse.  Competition yes!
