1.) Agree that Confederate is an "inner circle" great 3 year old of the last 50 years (hard to compare generations).  This is a fairly deep crop with 4 or 5 very solid horses.

2.) IMS clearly was "off" today, as he couldn't fire.  (perhaps he will show something when he is scoped.)  Hopefully they will find what it is and have him set up for the BC.

3.) Wonder if Moore will bring Stockade down for the BC?? Detention barn (no yogurt powder or Viobin as a snack?)  In any event, if he does, Stockade, Confederate, IMS, Seven Colors, Combustion, Cannibal should make for some thunder at Hoosier.
Seven Colors had to have bled today.

He was an auto toss without lasix. El Ray screwed my super. Damn Zeron and coming up the rail. Why is Ontario the only place that takes letting a horse up the inside seriously

Confederate earned it today. Barring a form reversal he's much better than the rest.

  • Bitter Truth: That Golden Tempo , I'm afraid is  a money burner. Gets so far back. Was in range but just hung and raced even in the stretch. Didn't see a Derby winner in there in my opinion.

  • Trigger: I thought BT & I had a real good shot w/ a 110 4/5, wide but nice momentum, and then a sharp left turn mid stretch ended that  ngc3
