Oh the good old days. Wooden Sulkys, Stop Watches in the drivers hands. Roosevelt 20th anniversary. They interviewed Del Miller on national TV.

So young, such a baby face, so wise, and so easy to talk to.

He was definitely special. I might have mentioned this before so forgive me if you already heard it but back in approx 74 my fiancee and I went on a road trip to go to Washington DC and decided to take a roundabout route and go to Liberty Bell and the Adios pace at Meadows first.
On that Friday we went to Liberty Bell and Meadow Bright won the feature. After the race we went to a Howard Johnson's for a snack and who is sitting there?
Delvin .. I went up and congratulated him on the win and he was nice as could be and talked to me for a few minutes. I was just a 20 something fan back then but he struck me as a true gentleman.

No tournament play there. Two many young cowboys bullying us old guys. Just straight poker. A lot of fun, but you could get hurt if you don't know the players.

When I refer to cash game I'm thinking non tourn or sit n go, casinos I've played in never let you play for cash only chips but technically a ring game is a cash game too.

Private games are cash only. But the table uses chips to cause no confusion. Buy-in it $1G with 2 other buy in allowed. It is strictly Texas Holdem. Is is no limit but most of the players know each other. No kids playing. I'd say the average age was about 40. Food is included. Usually subs and pizza. Occasionally Chinese food.

We had 8 tables going and the 1G prize is every hour. Todays game is the third private game I ever played. I starting to enjoy private games.

How many tables partake in the 1g prize and is it 30m or an hour?
