So young, such a baby face, so wise, and so easy to talk to.
I am just an old horse trainer still going around in circles. Sometimes Fast. Sometimes Half-Fast.

He was definitely special.  I might have mentioned this before so forgive me if you already heard it but back in approx 74 my fiancee and I went on a road trip to go to Washington DC and decided to take a roundabout route and go to Liberty Bell and the Adios pace at Meadows first.

On that Friday we went to Liberty Bell and Meadow Bright won the feature.  After the race we went to a Howard Johnson's for a snack and who is sitting there?

Delvin .. I went up and congratulated him on the win and he was nice as could be and talked to me for a few minutes.  I was just a 20 something fan back then but he struck me as a true gentleman.

  • dougie: Harness racing Revolution.....I understand why you feel the way you do. But like me, there are many who support the care of horses and the work that you do. Why penalize your supporters for the actions of a few misguided ignorant shit stirrers?

  • Harness Racing Revolution: Here's my response, I don't care. And not a fucking thing they can do about it. Same way they choose to not care. Sorry dude.

  • dougie: Harness Racing Revolution.....I never knew the Iceland connection. I believe it when you tell me cyber harassment is illegal. But if the admins choose to do nothing, what avenue is there for the folks who want to enjoy the "horse talk" in this group?

  • Harness Racing Revolution: dougie, DDOS attacks are illegal, in this country. Plop is based in Iceland. But cyber harassment is also illegal, in the US. Most of these IPs talking shit are US based. Just saying. Admins condone it, so fuck em!  ngc3

And Haters be HATERS. In 37 years only one bothered me. And I know all ,includin my most hated. Why you think you responsible for slowdown, the same you think you know everythin is beyound me. And there are ways to correct this situation. Don't think you can beat the system.
