I would like to add Juan Franco and Jamaica Patton.   (Not sure how young they are!)

Also, from the Wisconsin fair circuit: Mel Mullet and Gabe Wand seem quite capable.

Another young driver that I saw in the Hawthorne qualifiers is Bobby Smolin.   I hope that he has recovered.    I never minded risking my money on Mr Smolin (assuming the horse is reasonable!)

My friend Fuguzzi.
Here is a triva for you.
Which two USTA Hall Of Fame drivers were born, raised, and started their HOF careers on the Wisc. fair circuit?
Hint
One has over 10,000 wins.
The other won the national dash winning title.

Dave Magee.
Pretty sure Magee is correct. I feel like a fool now questioning the Wisconsin fair circuit. I just gave myself a swat with a burr head pole....

Your excused!
Yes Dave Magee and Don Busse.
Don's son Daryl also won the National dash title. He also was born and raised in Wi.
Dean Magee won the NA Cup with Yankee Cruiser.
He also was born, raised, and started at the wi. fairs.
And the list goes on and on.
Oh and for sure don't forget John DeLong.

Dave,
To my way of thinking Bobby Smolin is far from being young.
He is 42.
Been around the track all his life.
He had some promise ten/fifteen years ago.
In horse lingo I would say he is a mid claimer on his way to a long turnout.
He has made posts on Horse Plop that only a child would make.

Mullet is 29 and may make it.
Wand at 43 is a USTA Director,
He is a cheesehead.
Want to guess what his day job is?
Hint
He is a well educated cheesehead from the dairy state.
If you want to cheat, read his bio on The USTA Director page.
