Wow what a tough business decision that had to be made by the State Fair. Go with 18 races and 30 people in attendance or go with a sold out concert at probably $ 40-50 a pop. Can’t believe the dumb asses would cancel the races

Harnessplop: No use tryin to call out someone. I did it 5 times and theys were no shows. The guy claims to be a black belt in TW KWAN Do or some shit. Kinda like years ago the MIDGET LUKEPUKE with his JUDO and bodyguard. Everythin is BULLSHIT. It amazin how this site has changed from it's original purpose when started. I even found LUCPUKE humorous back then. Know it's gang up on any one with a differin view. The little kids with their constant posts and no truth verification have taken over. It.s become a lost cause.

Tug passed away @ 20 yrs in 2004. Tim apparently is his son. Odd - one (pop)excels in baseball the other (son) in music. Odd but true. Couldnt give me a ticket free to Tim. Shania Twain id take a free ticket.

Finally someone that has valuable input as to the happenings.  Shouldn't the fair have planned this better? Allowing for alternate days? Seems that the Horseman's Association should request a race date to be completed at the fair grounds and Purses distributed.

There usually are no alternative days for those races. The track gets used for multiple events all week like nightly concerts  and the closing weekend is used for motor sports. Once the rain screwed the eliminations which they tries one alternative date you couldn't race those on a Monday or Tuesday and come back with finals on a Thursday. Only to have another rain out and the weekend is a non starter. So off the Hawthorne. Fact is concerts and motor sports bring in more money then harness racing so no wonder which gets bumped first. If Hawthorne was open now it would have run the races this weekend with a earlier card like Balmoral did 8 or 9 years ago when rain halted the finals. However a thoroughbred meet is ongoing

I too have a black belt in TW Kwan. When I do a demonstration I tear up 10 parimutual tickets with one rip. Practice makes perfect 🤩
