ya know I have avoided commenting on this situation and of course this FB guy is one crazy bastard if he did indeed do this. reason i am commenting is it puts me in mind of something I witnessed almost 45 years ago when I was 16 and shy and very green about the game. Morning qualifiers at Foxboro. I am standing just off the racetrack where they come on and off just hanging out for a few minutes before packing up to leave. Right after the last race Dave Marshall comes riding off fuming. he starts towards the paddock leading the horse still in its equipment and sulky obviously, then suddenly stops to pick up a piece of 2x4 wood about 2 feet in length that was laying by a trash can. He spins the horse around and holding the lines in his left hand, proceeds to crack the horse with the flat of the board right smack across his forehead. he was about 6 feet away from me. I just watched in silence, mouth open too afraid to say a word. people were milling about all over the paddock inside and out. It is true he hit him once, but it was HARD. if horses see stars this one did. I swear he buckled a bit at the knees and shook his head and neck pretty violently making that sound they make with their lips. I have never scene anything like that ever again. Hated even looking at Dave Marshall's big fat face for the rest of my life. On the souls of my children, this story is 100 percent true.

One can only pray that some day it will happen to them! Animal abusers tend to be women beaters also. They think they are tough but only abuse those who won't or can't fight back!

I know I’ve been very critical of him, but I have to thank Mike Petrelli for his effort in this matter!

There’s nothing worse than a fucking horse killer. This cocksucker should have his nuts cut out and stuffed in his mouth!

Well, Dave inherited his fathers estate valued at more than a million. Shortly after, he drove off the road and died in a 1 car accident.

Ok, I do know he passed away several years ago. Probably alcohol related. He had the "drunk's nose". Not sure what your point is. Are you saying Karma caught up?

SCM is due a lot of credit in bringing this situation to the right light. Lets hope this gives him the platform to do things the right way going forward. Picking battles that matter, and not the fodder on here thats irrelevant. Especially any commentary or falsified observations by Calgoon.

So what, did the horse get up fall again, and again to fracture its skull in multiple places? Is your skull fractured to even make the statement you did? The guy is off drives all week, and you say it isnt true? Whats he on vacation? Come on. be smarter than your statement.

Oh what I stated is a fact, make no doubt.
