Left hard from 7 hole with Stratton picking up the drive. Three wide briefly. Made the top with the eventual
winner, Huntnthelast dollar taking over in 26.1. Followed along in the pocket to the top of the stretch.
Stratton cost him a possible 2nd by leaving the rail in the stretch. Ended up third. Mile went 1:52.1.
Other divisions: Verdun impressive. Blasted to the front. Gave way to favored Desperate Man . Followed
till the stretch, then blew by in 1:51.3. Desperate Man folded to third.
2nd division Uninspiring field and race. Himself Bartlett in 1:52.3.
Last division: Coach's Corner[Bartlett] carved it with soft fractions . Mossdale Ben[Stratton] came calling at 3/4.
Tried his ass off but soft fractions cost him. Mile in a 'VERY' impressive 1:50.4 for Coach's Corner.

Got one last gasp try to get enough points. Drew the 3 hole in a six horse field [horses obviously keep dropping out].
In against Himself [a winner this week] and Mossdale Ben [as impressive as any horse in the series] Cushing listed.
He did draw inside of them but don't see him holding that Mossdale Ben off no matter how the race plays out.

Several questions but no answers from me. Charlie in to go Saturday at Scioto nw 18K last 4, $20k purse
Here in lies the questions. Kayne Kaufmann listed to drive and Terry Di Cicco training and not Carter.
Any comments or answers to these curious changes?

Carter hasn’t trained all year.

Correct BUT all his qualifiers and races have been out East [Pocono + Yonkers]. I , for one,
figured it would be back to business as usual when he returned to Ohio racing. Apparent
rift between Carter and Tiger, I guess.

Carter has the sauce right now. Tiger better crawl back. Or just retire him.
Let carter butter him up one last time.

Carter said to race him out of the field.

Better do what Carter said that’s where the horse made the most money
