 tmbz1Ake at times adequate but also throws in clunker drives. Can be overaggressive in big races. I singled bond in p6 and aint complaining. Just not the best drive. Its racing though right.

Now that last raace had a driver with a clock in his head. And i bet the canadian trotter im high on. I think mclure just wanted to stay with the burke horse and timmy got away with a very nice trotter. It happens; but reliability are tetrick miller still. Tough yr for warawee xenia - may be back on her game though. I wouldnt discount her for rest of yr.

Yes, Ake's tactics definitely didn't work out, 2 weeks ago the horse didn't finish very well either. (last q of 29.1) Maybe he thought she needed a little more speed tonight? whatever the thought process it didnt end well! (I'll bet he races her off a helmet next week?)
she was my 3rd choice tonight & I probably wont be using here next week, and no I didnt use the 5 Heart on Fire

Maybe have Irv get you a special made sulky with the stirrups up close with blocks on them so you can reach with your widdle legs and you can get out there and show them how it's done!

Worst part was he did it from the rail and thus opened up spots behind him for the leavers to suck great trips.  Again, 100% agree that he has cost several horses dearly by driving them.. best example is the 2018 Hambo elimination with Six Pack:

so all of the Ake horses were awful and remember Bond/Jiggy Jog were not sharp on Pace night. So they had 6 total in the Hambo and Oaks and just had two make it as 5th place finishers. Once the others had done so bad it was pretty obvious to avoid Up Your Deo in the Elim. He made the final and unlike the others did have some time off so he could be better next week. You do wonder whats going on in that bard. Where is Stonebridge Helios? Won the Graduate but off since, will he be in the McKee?
