As most of you know from reading my stuff I am an east coast guy, so can some of my midwest friends enlighten me.

Why is the second leading dash winning driver in history, with well over 17,000 WINS and nearly $150 million earned - TONY MORGAN, never even whispered about for the Hall of Fame?

Somebody said he pissed off the powers that be at the USTA ages ago. Is this true? How? Is this it?

Dope aside. Biggest criminal, cheater, coulda won more. Same was said about Herve, Carmine, Catman, Buddy, Insko, Lucien and on and on - all in HOF.

Tony is 1 of the best horsemen I ever saw. Could stand at the fence on track or at the farm, look at you jog 1, then tell you after what is wrong with your horse. "Off in front; let out the hopples 2"; etc.
Main thing here was he repped the horsemen and led a strike. Old man Langley never forgave him. He blackballed Tony while he was still alive and had juice at the USTA and in Goshen.

This is true? What was the feud about?

Apparently Tony decided to drive in a bunch of high purse races, which makes sense, of course, but Bergstein wanted him to appear at some kind of event. I think he blew off Bergstein a couple of times. There is an interview where Tony talks about it somewhere on line. Bergstein held a grudge apparently.

Definitely a shady character.  He would show up at the at certain trainers' barns and the doors would instantly close!  Then drive for a different trainer and have some very suspicious drives setting up roadblocks!  Great horsemen and vet...just always on the take looking for an angle.

Tony mo is the best driver in Chicago harness racing history. Like Dave Magee or Ronnie marsh never tanked one? Please with that bullshit. Only difference between tony mo and guys like Magee and marsh is tony never kissed ass. He was the best horseman’s president we ever had and would help out the little guy. He never needed Davey Magee or paisley to work with him on rigging a race because he is so sharp he could do everything himself.
