Ya, give Ronnie a pass, don't think so. Enough rules have been tossed aside for them. It's trainers responsibility to make sure your horse comes prepared to race, that means horse gets lasix or not. There should be no question, Horse should come down and let Ronnie deal with the vet and his help for fucking up.
Everyone in the Hochstetler barn KNOWS that we do not give any horse anything other than feed 48 hours before the race. Jay always said if you inject a horse with water within 48 hours of the race that it is an automatic scratch and fine/suspension. I think that is the rule but I’ll ask homer Tuesday when Ponda Jet wins another! Lol But you cannot administer anything into a horse on race day or automatic scratch. Doesn’t matter if it was an accident or not. They should have never allowed this horse to race. It’s a very bad mistake and this will never happen in the Hochstetler barn. PS- keep your eyes peeled on our little 2 year old Ponda Title and of course, the best 3 year old undefeated Trotter in the world Ponda Jet. It will be a 4th of July to remember ! Go Jay Hocky- you got this.
Burke needs to be banded
Proof? What about Jimmy Takter with syringes in Canada? What about Ake Seventead using electrical prods to train horses? What about Cassie Coleman and the yogurt?Try to find a big trainer who does not have some questionable incidents in their past.
